Food & Beverage Manager:

A 3 star hotel in Ghana is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic professional for the position of Food and Beverage Manager

The qualified applicant will report to the General Manager; be responsible for the management of a star class hotel restaurant, banquet on and off premise as well as organizing conferences and events. Provide leadership to position the property to achieve the mission. Provide leadership in achieving goals and objectives. Communicate the goals and objectives and inspire employees to achieve those goals. Develop and implement business plan.

Job Description

* Responsible for the overall operations of Food and Beverage and Conference operations of a 3 star Hotel in Accra
* Improving of Revenue and Reduction of Costs
* Preparation of reports
* Participate in the development and monitoring of Staff development

The successful candidate should:

* Have a degree/diploma in: Hospitality/Service Field or Work Related Equivalent and 2 years of experience or have a minimum of five (5) years working experience in Hospitality Management at an established company

* Have supervised at least 20 staff, with revenue generation of above $ 100,000.00 per annum
* Have good communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, steady personality and cheerful demeanor, ability to sell concepts and ideas to management, peers, and employees.
* Be performance driven with a desire to achieve results.
* Be an individual who enjoys working with a great deal of independence
* A team player and a leader with demonstrated interpersonal skills
* Ability to interface with all levels of staff
* Must have strong organizational skills with eye for detail
* Ability to work independently and contribute to overall operations of the hotel
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
