Residents of Kwabeng, Akrofufu, Akwaboso, Asamama and Ekorso in the Atiwa District last Tuesday sighed with relief when management of Metro Mass Transport extended their services to the area.
Most of the people lined up along the road waiting for the first bus that arrived at about 0800 hours and expressed appreciation to the government for the gesture.
Mr John Asante, a farmer told GNA that with the introduction of the new transport system to the area, they would be relieved of exploitation by other commercial drivers.
