A former member of Ghana’s Ghana Black Stars, Edwin Conduah died last Wednesday at Cape Coast after a short illness.
Conduah, 61, also featured for two local clubs in Cape Coast, Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs and Venomous Vipers, as well as DUMAS (GTP) Club of Akosombo, during his footballing days.
According to a family spokesman, burial arrangements would be announced later.
Meanwhile the management of Dwarfs has sent a message of condolence to the bereaved family.
Mr George Tachie-Menson, Chief Executive Officer of the Club described the late Conduah as one of the best footballers Dwarfs had produced.
He said Dwarfs would always remember the late Conduah for his immense contribution to the club in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
