Abura-Dunkwa Royals on Saturday emerged the Central Region Under-17 Colts champions when they beat Breman Rocks 1-0 in the finals of their Middle League contest at the Robert Mensah stadium, Cape Coast.
Royals’ midfielder, Philip Essel, powered his side to victory when he slotted home the only goal of the match in the 41st minute.
Royals also won the Under-14 Cup when they again gained a narrow 1-0 victory over Winneba Soccer Intellectuals.
Outside right, Mustapha Otoo scored the match winner in the 25th minute.
In the Under-12 encounter, Abura Shantel beat Twifo Praso Stars 2-1 to carry the day.
