Almost all the old executives were retained with the exception of the president. His position went to D.J. Kofi Yim, former Vice President of the club, with Nana Antwi Bosiaku taking the vice president position.

Kofi Yim is an engineer by profession and Managing Director of GLOTEC Engineering Limited.

The other newly elected executives are William Asiedu Yeboah, Captain; Kwaku Otchere, Vice Captain; and Ebenezer Tetteh Mensah, Secretary.

Others are Kwabena Ohemeng, Treasurer; Dr Owusu-Baah, House Member; and Peverret, Competition Secretary.

The ladies of the club had a week earlier elected their members with Florence Etwi-Barimah aka ‘Lady Scientific’ a retired nurse and Executive Director of St Florence Clinic based at Ashiaman maintaining her position as Captain. Her vice is Victoria Adjei, while the Secretary is Esi Cobbina with Esther Antwi as Competition Secretary.

An 18-hole medal play organised to round-off the year’s golfing activities was won by 17-year-old Ernest Opoku, who playing with handicap 7, beat Richard Agbenu on count-back. Both scored 69 net. William Yeboah placed third with 73 net.

Lady Scientific grabbed the ladies’ medal with 74 net, while Petit Grace Afriyie followed with 75 net.
