CPP Takes over Akrofuom in Ashanti Region

Last Sunday, June 29th, the CPP completely took over Akrofuom in the Ashanti Region as young and old danced to brass band music and shouted, “Yeresesamu”.

The Presidential Candidate of the CPP Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom introduced Mr. Anthony Kwakye Ameyaw as the aspiring Member of Parliament for the Akrofuom constituency. Dr. Nduom was accompanied by other Parliamentary Aspirants, Ashanti Region Organiser, members of the National Campaign Team and constituency executives of the party.

The CPP Parliamentary Aspirant for Asokwa, Francis Owusu-Boamah asked the people to consider the many good works of the CPP that brought jobs to many Ghanaians and vote for the Party this year. The Aspirant for Obuasi, F. Kenya said that Dr. Nduom was truly “Edwumawura” and is someone all Ghanaians should vote for to come to power to bring hope to all Ghanaians. The Aspirant for New Edubiase Constituency Joshua Appiah reminded the people about the track records of the NDC and the NPP and said that they cannot be compared to that of the CPP.

Mr. Ameyaw told the enthusiastic crowd that if he becomes their MP, he will not behave as if he knows everything. He promised that he will listen to advice, suggestions and work with the people to identify their needs and work with local government organizations to solve them.
