He said Ghanaians should not be worried about the division in the next Parliament as he is ready to work efficiently with them to move Ghana forward.
He commended the two Members of Parliament (MPs) from the People’s National Convention (PNC) who declared their support for him and the NPP and noted that he will not be surprise should the rest of the group do same.
Nana Akuffo Addo added that his experience after working across party lines over the years has made him very versatile and that his involvement and active participation in bringing democracy home to the Ghanaian people is a factor that set him above his opponent.
According to him, the smaller parties have clearly shown the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) that they are more discerning and eagle-eyed to the things around the country and have come to realise that the NPP is the only party with the real message.
“The NDC thought the smaller parties who campaigned on the platform for change will all come to their side only to be disappointed, now you can all see that is not the issueâ€.
He recalled that all these smaller parties during the 2000 general election were in agreement with the then change which saw President Kufuor as the president of Ghana. He maintained that the NDC has shown Ghanaians that they are ready for the people and come December 28, Ghanaians will show them their maturity.
The NPP flag bearer reiterated that the smaller parties are all supporting the NPP because they have found the inconsistencies and the critical differences the NDCs message for change. He said the NPP’s change in the year 2000 produced two important statistics and it will be better this time.
Explaining further, Nana Akuffo Addo said the party has done what will make them get to the Golden Jubilee House and what is left now is to re-echo the message to Ghanaians to vote for the party, adding that their message will now bring all those who could not for the party for one reason or the other to do so.
To him, Ghanaians have unwavering confidence in the NPP and their ability to keep their promise of development, thus come December 28, Ghanaians will speak loud and prove their maturity by voting the NPP to retain power
