The Ghana Sustainable Change Project (GSCP) organized a four-day safe drinking water workshop in the Central Region. The workshop involved 72 participants meeting with representatives from Precision DX to train sales associates on their products.

Julia Doudu, the project coordinator for GSCP that the Aquatab, Precision DX product, kills all harmful germs in 25 liters of water. The Aquatab works within 30 minutes and can be used to provide drinkable water where there was none before.

The training workshop provided strategies to sell other Precision DX products like soap and oral rehydration salts (ORS). Doudu also expressed the importance of these workshops not just for the benefits to those who use the products, but it also provides employment and training to the sales representatives.

The first orders of products were given to the newly trained sales associates on credit until they are able to sell the products in order to purchase another shipment.

The Central Region Training is the second program in collaboration with the GSCP. The GSCP is a non-governmental organization that aims at behavioral change and the eradication of water related diseases like cholera, dysentery and others. The first such collaboration was in the Volta Region.
