Stars ready for ugandan friendly

The Stars held their first training session at the Tamale stadium ahead of their friendly international against Uganda on May 31..
Nineteen players including three goalkeepers participated the one hour session to fine-tune for the game this evening.
The session which looked like a dress-rehearsal for a counter attacking game to be adopted against Mali, saw full backs John Paintsil, Harrison Afful and Samuel Inkoom joining the attack occasionally to send in crosses.
Defender John Paintsil after the training told citi sports that they are set to start right against Uganda.
Meanwhile the Ugandan coach Bobby Williamson says he’s hoping his boys will give the stars a stern opposition ahead of the crucial encounter with Mali.
Bobby Williamson is the head coach of the Ugandan national team.
The Ugandan’s have had an impeccable run of form recently, beating Sudan and Malawi in their recent friendly encounters.
