African Sun Happy With Obama’s Stay at Holiday Inn, Accra

It is history that the Pan-African hospitality group, African Sun Limited will savour for as long as it remains in contention. Mr. Barack Obama, President of the United States of America chose to stay at its Holiday Inn, Accra Airport property during his first state visit to Africa between July 10 and 11.

President Obama and his family made our Presidential Suite, Suite 509, their ‘home away from home’ and his daughter Sasha remarked on the suite and said it was a ‘cool’ room.

Also speaking on the privileged of hosting the American president in their hotel, Shingi Munyeza, Group Chief Executive of African Sun Limited added, “Barack Obama chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Accra Airport because of its position, great facilities and world-class service. He noted his group is most honoured that from 10 July to 11 July, Obama and his family were shown the true ‘African Sun’ experience and the will be looking forward to welcoming them to any of their other properties whether in Ghana, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana or South Africa.”
