…Coach Sunday, others hailed

Two team mates, Raphael Ocloo and Hayford Nuakomanor, who were evicted from last Sunday’s ongoing MTN Soccer Academy Reality Show, have praised the technical coaches of the Academy House.

The two evictees thanked Coach Ibrahim Sunday, Coach Daniel Owusu and Coach Mohammed Polo for impacting in them enough knowledge and skills of playing football.

According to Raphael Ocloo, team mate number 8 and Hayford Nuakomanor team mate number 5, they have learnt a lot from the technical team during their stay in the competition.

“I see them as world class coaches because what I personally learnt from them, I believe will go a long way to boost my football career,” disclosed Raphael Ocloo.

The evictees made this known when they addressed journalists at a post-eviction press conference which took place at the Academy House at Ridge in Accra.

“The coaches helped us to be disciplined on the field and off the pitch as well and, though, we have been evicted from the show, we are not going home empty handed but with a lot of skills and soccer techniques,” Ocloo told journalists.

“My eviction from the House came to me as a surprise because I was the top scorer in the House with about 10 goals so far, but it is sad I had to be evicted at this point in time. No matter what, there could be only one winner when it comes to competitions like these,” indicated Raphael Ocloo.

On his part, Hayford Nuakomanor said: “Having spent about two months in the Soccer Academy House, it is just too painful to go out at this time. And in competitions of this nature, one person will come out as the victor so I am not bothered at all. Anyway, I thank God for bringing me to this far.”
