Criticisms Of My Administration By NDC Members Is A Healthy Dev’t

According to him, democracy cannot be complete without free expression.
President Mills made this observation when he fielded questions from news editors on the performance of his one-year-old government at the Castle today.
On what perhaps is the single biggest policy of the NDC since the party assumed power a year ago, President Mills said the government has initiated programmes from “different angles” to ensure that “Ghanaians would feel the economy is moving forward in a different direction.”
The President would also not equate to corruption the allegations of financial malfeasance against former Sports Minister Muntaka Mubarak which resulted in the minister’s resignation.

Presidential Spokesperson, Mahama Ayariga. Some have expressed concern about the apparent lack of co-ordination between his office and that of Koku Anyidoho, Head of Communications at the Presidency.
Asked whether he is worried about the performance of his communication outfit within the 1st year of his government, President Mills said he is “not worried but concerned about the work of the communication outfit of his government.”
“I’m aware of the views of the Vice President who is a communications expert…a restructuring of the communication outfit will be done when it becomes necessary,” he assured.
