VIP, Rough & Smooth to rock Sunyani

The sensational hiplife duo, Vision in Progress (VIP), who just launched their album after a long break and new duo on the block, Rough and Smooth, would be rocking the Sunyani Polytechnic in the Brong Ahafo region.

VIP and Rough and Smooth would be shaking the roofs and foundations of the auditorium of the Sunyani Poly to entertain students and residents of the municipality as part of activities marking the hall week celebration of the Getfund Hall.

Other artistes billed to perform during the hall week celebration include Yaa Pono, Naybez, Vengee, D-Medals and Chameleon Warriors.

President of Getfund Hall, Baba Alhassan, in an exclusive interview with Entertainment Today, disclosed that the all necessary preparations including security have been put in place to make the one week celebration a memorable and an eventful one.

The hall week is celebrated on the theme: “Polytechnic education better grounds for industrial and socio-economic development of Ghana.”

“I want to use this medium to call on all students to participate fully in the activities marking the celebration which I believe would be a memorable one,” Baba Alhassan assured.

According to him, the celebration will start with a candle night; it would be followed by indoor games at the forecourt of Getfund.

He disclosed further that there would be a football match between Getfund Hall and Busia Hall.

“The deputy Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Eric Opoku, would also be the guest speaker at a forum to be held at the conference room of the hall,” Baba Alhassan indicated.

Other interesting programmes lined up for the celebration include live band, health walk with a massive jamma, swagger and awards nite.
