Man slashes throats of three kids

GNA – Abubakari Iddrisu, a 20-year-old barber,
has slashed the throats of three kids who are his nephews killing one
and two are in critical conditions at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
   The victims are Mustapha Abdul-Jahir, the 8-year-old deceased,
Mustapha Aliu, 9, and Mustapha Mohammed, 7.
      Chief Inspector Ebenezer Tetteh, the Public Relations Officer
of the Northern Regional Police Command, told the GNA that the three
kids were sleeping with their mother on Wednesday morning on the
compound of their house when she was awoken by the cry of the kids.
  She saw the three kids in a pull of blood and raised the alarm that
attracted people to the scene.
  They pursued Abubari Iddrisu, arrested him and handed him over to the police.
  Chief Inspector Tetteh said the mother, out of shock, fainted and
is on admission at the same hospital.
