Ghana, Nigeria: Sub-Saharan Africa Bond, Currency Preview

(Bloomberg) — The following events and economic reports may influence trading in sub-Saharan African bonds and currencies today. Bond yields and exchange rates are from the previous session.
Democratic Republic of Congo: The central African nation’s planning minister is expected to comment on new transparency initiatives.
The Congolese franc fell 0.3 percent to 912.6384 per dollar as of 4:13 p.m. in the capital, Kinshasa.
Ghana: Ghana hosts an oil and gas conference.
The Ghanaian cedi lost 0.5 percent to 1.4270 by 4:37 p.m. in the capital Accra.
Nigeria: The government will hold an oil and natural gas forum with foreign companies.
The naira gained 0.3 percent to 149.6 to the dollar as of 4:36 p.m. local time.
