The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Oxygen Company of Ghana, Nana Kwadwo Duah, has emerged the winner of the British Council International Inaugural Award, which was organised last year to reward entrepreneurial spirits of Ghanaian youth.

Mr Duah revealed this during a press conference held by his outfit last week to brief journalists on how he won the award in Communication during the British Council Inaugural International Award in the UK.

“For the award, I won a cash prize of $7,500 which I decided to share with the Oxygen Company of Ghana,” Mr Duah disclosed.

According to him, there were several countries such as Ghana, Togo, India, China and others which partook in the British Council International Youth competition, where every member was to choose a topic for presentation.

“The vision has always been to project the essence of branding and identity cooperate transformation to gain economic success,” he stressed.

He disclosed: “I am proud to be the winner of the award which for me is an inspiration that propels me to even do more to realise my passion and to see branding and making an impact on the nation’s socio-economic development,” he stated.

He said branding and identity is a key to propel the progress of a nation, therefore the establishment of a Brand Ghana office in Accra was very refreshing to him.
