YOUR ENEMIES ARE MEN AND NOT GOD.

“But the Egyptians are men and not God, their horses are flesh not spirit, when the Lord stretches out his hand, he who helps will stumble, he who is helped will fall both will perish together,” Isaiah 31 verse 3.

This biblical quotation which was made by Prophet Isaiah urges us not to rely on men to provide solution to the numerous socio-economic challenges that confront us as individuals and the society at large.

The reason is that these people are mortal beings whose abilities are limited and could be short-lived. The Prophet Isaiah further encourages us not to be perturbed about those who seek our downfall and destruction through worldly means such as lies, persecution and blackmail because God is able to protect and grant us victory.

He also admonishes us to trust God always, wait in faith and worship him wholeheartedly with great zeal and the victory that we expect would come. Victory will also be ours in this battle when we allow God to intercede and fight the battle for us.

Our challenges vary from one person to another. Some people are bedeviled with, either marital problems, barrenness, unemployment, sicknesses, crippled businesses and disappointment while others are being tormented by witches and wizards that Satan have assigned to monitor their lives. In an attempt to seek solution to these problems, many people have rather sank deeply into the ocean of miserable living without any hope of being salvaged, because they have trusted men who cannot solve their problems.

When God was ready to deliver the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, no one could stop him because, he had absolute power to subdue the Egyptians.

The story of the Israelites crossing the red sea was a mind boggling miracle which could happen to anyone who put his trust in God.

After God instructed Moses to stretch his rod at the red sea, the bible says it automatically divided the red sea into two leaving dry land in between and enabled the Israelites to walk across the sea.

After this development, came the destruction of the Egyptians and their chariots when they attempted crossing the sea and the waves overpowered them.

Undoubtedly, this was a demonstration of God’s power to deliver his children from their oppressors.
Serving God for decades now, I can say that I am a living testimony to the good works of God. I can testify to the glory of God that I have been able to stand the test of time, overcoming all kinds of temptations, persecutions and trials because I have made God my shield, pillar and strength.

The secret of my life is Jesus. He has provided adequate protection and direction for the fulfillment of my purpose in life. He has also been my source of inspiration and wisdom which would enable me relate to everyone without fear.

Therefore, I deem it not necessary to engage my detractors in blame games and vengeance because vengeance belongs to God.

Similarly, I have never bothered myself so much about those who have betrayed me but I pray for them always and also ask God to forgive them. I am always strengthened because I have entrusted my life into God’s hands and so far God has been good to me.

There are several tactics and instruments Satan uses to change people’s destiny.

A. FINANCIAL ENSLAVEMENT.
The availability of strong financial base is an essential factor in business development. In any human endeavour, money plays a vital role. Despite the financial resources available to some people, Satan could still retard their progress, creating great loss that could lead to bankruptcy because his mission is to kill and destroy.
If a person has been enslaved financially by Satan, there is no amount of efforts and input applied that would yield good result unless such a person is delivered totally from the claws of the devil. MAY GOD UPROOT ALL DEVOURERS IN YOUR FINANCES! AMEN.

HOW CAN WE OVERCOME FINANCIAL DEVOURERS?
1. CONSULT AND INVOLVE GOD IN THE PLANNING OF YOUR BUSINESS.
2. HAVE FAITH IN GOD FOR BREAKTHROUGH AND ABUNDANT BLESSING.
3. CONDUCT PRUDENT FEASIBILITY STUDIES
4. THINK POSITIVE ABOUT THE VENTURE. IGNORE AND AVOID NEGATIVE STATEMENTS.
5. FULFILL YOUR FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS TO GOD IN YOUR CHURCH BY PAYING YOUR TITHE AND SUPPORT DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN BY THE CHURCH.
6. ENSURE PRUDENT FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT.

When the devil discover that you don’t fulfill your financial obligations to God, especially in tithing which is sacred, he quickly takes advantage of the situation and attack your financial freedom.

After you have met all the requirements for success and breakthrough, Satan could still attempt destroying your fortune but if your foundation is firmly rooted in Jesus Christ Satan and his agents would fail because they are men and not God.
They cannot determine your future nor dictate your direction. Do not be afraid of those who can only kill the body but cannot kill the soul but be afraid of God who has the power over your life and death.

WHEN JESUS SAYS YES NO MAN CAN SAY NO.
This should be the basis of our fellowship with God. No matter how far people could pursue their sinister agenda against you, they would fail because you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. They have no right to touch you.
TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED AND DO MY PROPHET NO HARM.

B. SPIRITUAL FRUSTRATION
The fact that a person attends church regularly does not exclude him or her from Satan’s attack. One could be a prayer warrior, yet suffers setback or experience natural disasters. Even an ardent Christian could experience crisis or calamity just like Job in the bible. This does not suggest that God cannot save his people and protect them from danger.
Those who love God and trust him always consider such experiences as test of faith which would bless their lives in all fields of endeavour. Crisis and misfortunes are not designed and they don’t come to destroy believers but to urge them on life.
They rather serve as instruments to promote spiritual growth and blessing to those who would endure to the end. God has not promised us a crisis-free life, but he has promised abundant grace to overcome crisis in life.
Total trust in God, endurance, perseverance, humility and self control are the solution. Any action contrary to this suggestion would ultimately lead to spiritual frustration which would cumulate into doubt, backsliding, blasphemy and lukewarm attitude towards God.

Funny thoughts which originate from Satan would cloud your sense of reasoning. Thought of God being partial and insensitive to your plight would weigh you down to peril. At the peak of this dilemma, you would start looking for ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS from false prophets, soothsayers, witchcrafts and sorcerers.

Don’t make such mistakes my beloved one in Christ. Don’t fall flat for Satan. Your present situation would not destroy you. Remain awake for Jesus. Wait in faith and receive your blessing.

“Consider that your present suffering is not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18.
