Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, presidential aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), resumes his campaign tour of the country with visits to the Northern, Upper East and Upper West regions yesterday Sunday, 31st May, 2010.

His tour in the northern regions of Ghana will end on Monday, 14th June, 2010.

This was disclosed in a press release dated 28 May, 2010 and signed by Yaw Buaben Asamoa, Spokesperson of Mr Kyerematen.

According to Mr Buaben Asamoa, Mr Kyerematen and his team will interact with party delegates, traditional and opinion leaders throughout the three northern regions starting from Tolon through Kumbungu, Savelugu to Nanton on his first day.

“The team will make similar stops in all the constituencies throughout the regions”, the release said.

The statement further indicated that Mr Kyerematen, who together with other presidential hopefuls was vetted last Thursday by the party’s vetting committee, will continue to deliver his core message of grassroots activism, which delegates believe, is the best way of securing power for the NPP come the 2012 election.

The message essentially, Mr Buaben Asamoa noted, focuses on the polling station executives being recognized as the most significant frontline for campaigning.

“Mr Kyerematen will explain how he hopes to turn the economy around to enhance youth employment through investing in the productive sectors of the economy, backed by qualitative improvements in health care delivery, education, utilities and transport infrastructure”, said Buaben Asamoa

He will emphasize how important peace is to ensure a united purpose of developing the northern parts of the country.
