Umoja thrills Ghana with music and dance

Scores of Ghanaians from all walks of life enjoyed a new theatre experience over the weekend, as the world acclaimed South African dance theatre group, Africa Umoja stormed the National Theatre for the first time with two days of exciting music and dance.

As the audience watched on and savoured emotional and sometimes exciting music as well as explosive dance, the story of South Africa’s extraordinary journey as a country unfolded right under their noses within the two hours or so of ‘Africa Umoja, The Spirit of Togetherness’. Africa Umoja’s elaborate performances and stories are presented with such intensity, soul and spirit that audiences across the world cannot help but to give them a standing ovation each time.
