Alan K visits Alma Mater

One of the leading contenders of the NPP flagbearership race, Alan Kyerematen has congratulated the staff and students of his Alma mater Adisadel College for a very successful Centenary celebration.

Mr. Kyerematen said he highly appreciated the hard work he knew they put in, to ensuring a successful celebration. He commended the students for their smart turn out, the neatness of the school environment and the high discipline they exhibited.

He said they had made all old boys of the school both home and abroad very proud. He advised them to be diligent in their studies and always cooperate and obey school authorities.

He presented two bulls, ten bags of rice, oil and tomato paste to the school to be used in preparing a school feast for the staff and students. As part of the package, the students were each presented with a chilled soft drink from Coca Cola.

The items and message were presented on Mr. Kyerematen’s behalf by Mr. Philip Longdon, an old boy of the school and an aide to Mr. Kyerematen.

Receiving the items on behalf of the school, the Headmaster, Mr. K.K.Grayham expressed his profound thanks and praise to Mr. Kyerematen. He said because of the large number of students and high costs, school feasts were becoming very rare.

He also used the opportunity to thank old boys for the support they continue to give the school.

The head prefect of the school thanked and promised that they would they take the advice of Mr. Kyerematen seriously, and added that they will remember him in their prayers.

Also as part of the Centenary celebrations, an inter house football tournament was also earlier organized. A trophy was presented to the winners Knight House.

The presentation of the trophy was made by Mr. Hero Bavnani, immediate past chairman of the Board of Governors on Alan Kyerematen’s behalf. At that presentation, Mr. Steve Kyerematen, elder brother of Alan Kyerematen congratulated the winners and advised the others to put up their best in competitions.
