Emmanuel Presby helps orphanage

The Emmanuel Presbyterian Church of Ghana in Madina, Accra, has donated a Hyundai H200 mini-bus and items worth over GH¢14,500 to Seeway Orphanage Home at Osenase in the West Akyem Municipal Area of the Eastern Region.
The items included clothes, shoes, soft drinks and soaps.
The church will also provide maintenance services for the car whenever it develops fault and also pay the monthly salary of the driver.
Presenting the car and the items, Evangelist Abraham Osei, on behalf of Rev. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye of Emmanuel Presby, in Madina, said the donation was part of their social responsibilities.
He said if one wants to get favour from God, then that person should first do something to help the underprivileged in society, stressing that there are more blessing in giving then receiving.
He appealed to individuals and organizations to help cater for the children in orphanage homes in Ghana.
Rev. Freeman Yeboah Manu, the host Pastor of Elim Evangelical Church and Overseer of Seeway Orphanage Home at Osenase, receiving the car and the items thanked the church for their kind gesture.
He promised to take good care of the car and also asked for God’s blessing for members of the Emmanuel Presbyterian church in Madina.
