Former Minister for Youth and Sports, Muntaka Mubarak, has said he has had enough of the public mockery over allegations that he used state funds to buy pampers and khebabs also known as kyikyinga.

Alhaji Mubarak said he feels deeply hurt anytime the issue is played up in the media. The Asawase Member of Parliament is particularly worried about people making him a laughing stock when he has not been found guilty of any offence.

He singles out Joy FM’s Ato Kwamena Dadzie for consistently referring to the allegation to ridicule him. “You will never appreciate the pain until it is you. Nobody has been able to prove this thing and yet many Ghanaians still use it to crack jokes, still use it to make fun and I believe it is not just fair,” he said. Alhaji Muntaka said he would have had little problems if he was found guilty of the allegations. He is not happy that managers of Joy FM are not sanctioning Ato Kwamena Dadzie for unjustifiably ridiculing him and others.
