More on the Nigeria weapon seizure

Intelligence reports monitored in Lagos, Nigeria, offer an indication that some of the weapons seized by the country’s State Security Service last Wednesday have found their way into a sister West African country.

The weapons, which were carefully stored in cocoa sacks to deflect public attention, arrived at the country’s largest port city.

They arrived from Apapa, Nigeria, on Monday (25th October, 2010) in 61 cocoa sacks.

According to an intelligence signal, one Chief F.C. Nwufoh, the master brain behind the shipment of the weapons, has been allegedly arrested by the State Security Service of Nigeria for interrogation.

It is believed that he had strong security ties with many top security personnel of most of the countries forming the West African sub-region, particularly the country where the 61 sacks of arms had arrived.

Chief Nwufoh owns the Oil Energy Nigeria Limited and is also a shareholder of Sahara Oil Limited.

However, a detailed report on the real aid-actors of Chief Nwufoh and the destination country of the arms is expected in the coming weeks.
