Accra bourse slumps again

- The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark performance measure of the Ghana Stock Exchange, slumped again on Tuesday by 79.72 points to close at 7,116.29 points from 7,196.01 points the previous session.
There were five gainers and four losers during the session bringing the year to date gain so far to 27.71 per cent.
Fan Milk Limited led the gainers with GH¢0.26 at GH¢2.02, Total Petroleum Ghana was up by GH¢0.11 to close at GH¢9.62, Standard Chartered Bank went up by GH¢0.10 at GH¢45.50, State Insurance Company inched up by GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.43 and Cal Bank Limited rose at GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.30.
The losers were SG SSB Limited, which fell GH¢0.03 to close at GH¢0.55, Mechanical Llyod Company Limited was down by GH¢0.02 at GH¢0.10, Aluworks Limited closed lower by GH¢0.02 at GH¢0.14 and Ecobank Transnational Inc. which also slipped GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.14.
A total of 1,173,636 shares were traded worth GH¢268,597.61.
Market Capitalisation closed the session marginally lower at GH¢20,086.95 million from GH¢20,160.41 million at the previous close.
