Stanbic unveils ‘stretch your money’

The first promotion for 2011 is known as the ‘Stretch Your Money’ promo which was officially unveiled in Accra last week at the Bank’s Head Office.
The promotion would run till the end of April 2011.
Addressing journalists at the launch, the Director of Personal and Business Banking of the bank, Mr. Kevin Wingfield, indicated that his outfit seeks to provide customers with the very best of banking services and products.
He admitted that money was hard to come by these days hence the bank’s commitment to helping its valued customers generate wealth with the little money they have.
“We all know that money of late has been very hard to come by — but we at Stanbic Bank want to ensure that our valued customers have the maximum and positive returns when they bank with us,” indicated Mr. Wingfield.
He maintained that a number of juicy initiatives have been put in place for the sake of customers in all branches across the country.
Mr. Wingfield disclosed that his outfit seeks to connect Africa to the world through its operations to remain as Ghana’s biggest financial institution.
He, therefore, called on all Ghanaians to come onboard and experience the true wealth creation that is associated with Stanbic Bank.
“We call on our existing and new customers to come and experience our rich hospitality,” he expressed.
Touching on the promotion scheme, the Head of Personal Banking, Mr. Benjamin Mensah, revealed that the promotion seek to reward customers of the bank.
He, however, explained that new customers who open current accounts with minimum amount of GH¢300 would be qualify to enter the draw.
Mr. Mensah intimated that the said amount qualifies the customer to win a coupon as well as a free visa debit card and an international debit card.
“Existing customers are required to acquire a personal or vehicle loan and also to top-up monies in their accounts to qualify them into the promotion,” he stated.
He announced that an amount of GH¢10,000 GH¢7,500 and GH¢5,000 will be rewarded for the first, second and third winners respectively among other consolation prizes.
Mr. Mensah revealed that the cash prizes will not be given out to the winners directly but rather, will be invested into profitable projects on their behalf.
“We are going to give the opportunity to people to bank with Stanbic Bank. As a matter of fact, existing clients will be treated better and to our new customers, all our doors are widely opened,” he stressed.
