NDC is bent on retaining Ashaiman Seat-Gomda
Posted by on February 18, 2011 at 8:55 am in Local, PoliticsThe on-going development projects within the Ashaiman Municipality in the NDC’s two years reign is a sign that the party would retain the constituency seat in the 2012 Parliamentary Election.
Mr Mohammed Gomda, Constituency Chairman, the GNA in an interview that the government was providing Ashaiman residents with schools, roads, markets and water.
Mr Gomda urged party members and supporters to remain united so that with a united front, the party’s dream of retaining the constituency seat would become a reality.
He urged foot soldiers of the party to exercise restraint, since they would surely get their fair share of the party’s “cake.”
Mr Mohammed Juda, Constituency Youth Organizer, pledged the unflinching support of the Youth for the President John Atta Mills “Better Ghana” agenda and expressed the hope that by the end of the NDC’s four-year mandate, the electorate would have no alternative than to renew the party’s mandate.
Mr David Worwui-Brown, Deputy Constituency Secretary reiterated the executives’ resolve to intensify their education drive at the grassroots, in order to win more members and supporters for the party.
