World’s worst mug shot?

A man in the United States has posed for an unforgettable police mug shot after he fled a barber’s shop before his hair was finished.

David Davis (21) was busy having his hair braided in Stamford, Connecticut, when he reportedly attacked another customer.

Police said that Davis then ran off, with his hair only half-finished. Officers found him shortly after the attack at a nearby apartment.

Davis was initially arrested after being found to have missed a court appearance. Later he was charged with the attack in which he stabbed another customer with a pair of scissors.

Davis told police that he had been defending himself after being approached in an “aggressive manner” by the customer, also 21-years-old.

Davis is accused of slashing the other man across the back with the pair of scissors, injuring him to the point where he had to seek hospital treatment.

US authorities charged Davis with first-degree assault. He is being held on a $5000 (about R35 000) bail-bond. He is due back in court on 22 March.
