The 31-year-old will be unveiled by the club at a press conference on Friday afternoon in Novi Sad.
The details of the deal for Appiah will be unveiled at the press conference.
This comes after the Ghanaian successfully underwent medicals to become the biggest signing in the club’s history.
The deal with Appiah is a major boost for the club who are attempting to break the duopoly of Partizan Belgrade and they have already signed Brazilian Moreira.
“It seemed impossible, but it has now become reality! After hiring Moreira, Novi Sad has managed to bring into its ranks one more powerful reinforcement,” the Novi Sad based club said in a statement.
“Stephen Appiah, former player of Juventus and a participant of World Cups will become the player of Vojvodina tomorrow.
“There is no doubt that the arrival of one of the experienced players Appiah is the biggest transfer in the history of the club.”
Appiah has been clubless since leaving Italian side Cesena last season and has since been linked with several collapsed moves.
The former Juventus and Fernabace midfielder has been in regular contact with former Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac.
His former Juventus teammate Milos Krasic has also had spells with the Serbian side.
