ASEM’s second album already a winner

The album will be available online at http://www.asemmusic.com on 10th February, 2012. CDs will be available in stores on 17th February, 2012.
The video for SOLID GROUND’s first single “NO MORE KPAYOR” won BEST HIPLIFE video at the 2011 4SYTE music video awards and ‘Best West African video’ at the 2011 Nigeria music video awards.
The album showcases beat productions from producers in Ghana, South Africa, and USA and features Kwabena Kwabena [Bye Bye], Irene Logan [1000 Fights and Make Ups], DJ Black and South African artiste JR.[Show Something].
The album will be distributed in Ghana by WBDN RECORDS and distributed throughout Africa and worldwide by distribution partners in South Africa and the UK.
As a follow-up to Asem’s groundbreaking first album “Better Late Than Never” which revolutionised urban music in Ghana with the ever controversial “Give me Blow” and club banging afro popping “Pigaro” which was also the most played song in Ghana in 2009-2010 and went on further to win Discovery of the year at the Ghana Music Awards 2009 and the following year won the World Bank Music for development Award for socially responsible artists with his song and education project “School Dey Bee.”
Asem will be on the 233LIVE show on vibe 91.9 FM this Saturday 10:00 A.M., to elaborate more about his highly anticipated album.
