B. Chelsea records Champions League victory

Berekum Chelsea beat Liberia’s LISCR 2-0 in their Caf Champions League preliminary round first leg tie on Sunday.

Defender Eric Agyemang connected a free-kick in the second half to register the club’s first continental goal as they make their debut.

Prince Papa Arko doubled the lead on 80 minutes at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia.

Chelsea will host the return leg at the Golden City Park in a fortnight: the winner over both legs advances to play Raja Casablanca of Morocco.
