Unconfirmed reports gathered by the journal indicates that Mr. James Kwabena Bomfeh Jnr has won the position as National Youth Organiser polling 1054 votes as against Mr. Francis Opai Tetteh votes of 857. It was recorded that 8 votes were rejected.

Delegates to the Convention People’s Party congress in Kumasi are still voting to elect a presidential candidate and other party officials.

As at 6 am on Monday morning, delegates from the Northern Region were still voting. That had to be suspended because in the estimation of the Electoral Commission, there was some form of impersonation.
